The State of the City Address 2024
The State of the City Address 2024 was conducted on Friday, August 16, 2024 by Mayor Erick G. Canosa who highlighted countless developments that were concluded already, or are currently in progress and he also presented a peak into the envisioned future of Gingoog City.
Sir Dodong Yntig, President and Ma'am Suzette Daamo, Vice President of the Gingoog City Chamber of Business and Trade, Inc. or GCCBTI highlighted a successfully implemented Agricultural Partnership with Del Monte Philippines and stressed the need for more infrastructure such as for example additional Hydro or Solar Renewable Power Supplies, potentially with the cooperation of Aboitiz Power Corporation and a Sea Port, possibly together with Aboitiz Infra Capital to attract also Foreign Investors like for example Tsuneishi Heavy Industries, Inc., a Joint Venture between Japan based shipbuilder Tsuneishi Group and the Aboitiz Group.
